Is the Solstice a go?

I haven't heard any definate answers on this yet, but I have heard that GM is still working on it, and it continues to show up at car shows, so I'm leaning towards "yes". If so, what year will it come out? And if it sells well, will that help the possibilities of a 5th gen Camaro coming out?

To my knowledge, there has been no offcial "go" to Solstice, though, like you said... since it keeps getting shown around, to me that means they are really trying to make it go.

I don't think it'd really affact a future Camaro very much... however, it might bury the Firebird even further...

Pontiac & Lutz both really want this car, so if there is anyway possible to produce it, you can probally bet the farm it's going to be produced.

As far as a 5th gen, I think it's fate is tied closely with GM's "volume" RWD program. I'd say definately, but not before other higher volume models come out (re: Chevy sedans).
