I think most people would find it hard to argue with this call.

Snorman... you are so full of it, look at where this thread started and where snorman has taken it,
Where did I take it? I merely followed comments made by others, such as your GTO-hugging self.
and since the GTO is from aus, snorman is easily able to get the chev guys on his side which view the GTO as an outsider..
You'd have gotten away without me knowing who you really were if you hadn't tried this lame argument again. Once again, those who don't agree with your opinion of the GTO are doing so because they don't support the "aussie cars". BTW, I've presented facts, with only a sprinkling of my opinion, which you made clear you think is wrong. In this country, we're allowed to have an opinion and express it. Your own situation may differ.
ok.. keep fapping away... the GTO is POS , its interior is cheap, its times are slow.. blah blah
You're either illiterate or blind. And this is an old accusation. Nowhere have I stated the GTO was a "POS", or "cheap" or "slow". Learn to read before spewing your unsubstantiated garbage.
ive seen his posts regarding the GTO on many forums.
Still stalking me on turbobuick.com? Go see what they have to say about the new GTO...you'll find plenty of people who you can accuse of having a wrong opinion (as if there is such a thing).
it is also one of the most intelligent groups on the net at debating subjects car-related.
And it's also quite unfortunate that you don't fit into said group.

And this quite closely mirrors my own opinion of GTO. IMO, GM has a few flaws to fix. Those addressed, the LS2 sitting between the strut towers and I think they'll have a pretty strong M3 fighter.

No arguementt with that statement - this is the main reason I post here. Even so, even the folks on this Forum have their biases. That includes me and most others. Even you.

Now You of all people feel you have to come over here (aren't you the admin of corral) and bash this GM Car with comments like "if you squint it looks like a ricer" ... seriously now.
Excuse me. I have been here for many YEARS - not a couple of weeks. Further, I am not "bashing" the car. If I am - show me. and Finally, you are taking the quote attributed to me way, way out of context. I do not consider the GTO to be "ricey" as it is delivered from the factory. Not all. However, in my opinion (and I have to assume you understand what "opinion" means), the GTO in the pics that is "drifting" looks riced out.

Seriously, and yes, now.

Hey Ude-Lose,

Take it from a person who's driven the new GTO....it's not near as fast/quick as an LS1 f-body. You can definitely feel the extra ~300lbs this car has over the f-body. It could use some more low end torque to get it moving a little quicker.

That said, the car is awesome. Lots of room...plenty quick for what it is, and the aftermarket is already there. If I had the money for another car I'd be picking up a blue M6 yesterday.

After my drive in the car (which is my friend's) I got into my car feeling bad about the inferior quality....but a blip to the throttle and a quick shift into 2nd gear I knew what I really liked better.

For pics of my friend's car go to:

i can just see your friend modding his GTO , and then it will go like a raped ape - see here as well as enjoying the iterior, IRS handling and everything else.
The mods are coming.

The handling and the interior comforts are simply amazing when you're used to traditional American muscle.
