I agree that the Traverse is ugly, but did you look at the Acadia? Out of the 3 on that platform that is the one I'd pick.

Find me a stock GTI that runs 71.xx mph in the slalom. It's not even close, as much as mags want people to believe. Mazdaspeeds are tuned at Laguna Seca, they are true performance cars. The GTI is "hot" for a Golf, but nowhere near the Speed3 of Focus ST that's coming stateside soon.

I'm betting even the upcoming Fiesta ST with 180 hp and 177 ft/lbs is going to roast GTI's in every dimension save "tactile feel" on the dash. Easily 400 lbs less, Nurburgring tuned, an effort between Europe's Team RS and America's SVT.

I'm not hating on the GTI, but it's been needing a power upgrade for a few years now.

Just saw the press pics of the new Dart.

I have to say that IMO it's the best looking car in it's class.

I think (and keep in mind, I'm talking about looks only) it'll attract a lot of younger guys who would get an EVO or STI if it didn't cost so much.

An SRT version would seal the deal.

That is just what this segment needs IMO. A sporty car that can get 40mpg. SRT-4 just makes it even better.

1) don't like that the screen is up that high.

2) i don't see a cd slot...odd.
