Fine with me. I'd just pay extra for a convertible.

I took extraordinary care of my new '91. They leaked. It wasn't nice and tight when it was new. It always made sounds. My friend's '88.... same problems. My friend's '86..... same problems.

A few years after I got the '96, my buddy bought a used '97. Both of us stayed away from T tops. Many people say the 4th gen's tops were better. Maybe they did improve since the body is more rigid than the 3rd gen. *shrug* Dunno.

I feel that a targa could bring back people (buyers) that have been turned off by T tops. Maybe they had a bad experience and swore never to buy a "pos camaro" again. Maybe they just think a targa is more up to date and "more cool" (like the Corvette, NSX, Porsche). Its something that at least should be looked at.
