Should the next Dodge Viper go EV

Should the next Viper go EV? Current Viper hurt CAFE (even though not that much) and is not the type of Halo that is in right now. Plus the $80K price tag seems to be whats needed for a performance electric car.

Maybe put a Viper front on the Dodge EV concept? The performance is almost already there.

Probably would **** off Viper loyalist, but the days of V10 cars might be coming to an end. R&D money would also be better spent on EV tech. I also think new fans would make up for lost fans. But then again if the 0-60 is the same who knows.

Exactly what I was thinking...

I think there maybe a market for EV sports cars. I think that manufactures should think about more realistic purposes for EV cars first... like commuter cars.
