What the Asian car makers think about a loan to the "big 3"?
It would be very hypocritical of the Japanese brands to oppose US Govt. help of the Domestic brands because they have certainly rec'd plenty of help on their home soil.
Besides it's better to have a weak GM, Ford, Chrysler than it is to have them bankrupt in terms of competition. It's less of a drain to their own interests and deals and they can continue to gain market share as their completive advantage increases.
I'm always surprised to hear about a backlash that many Asian brands cite as a reason not to get too big and powerful here in the US. I think they misperceive the American car buyer. If they were really that concerned would Toyota have joined NASCAR..

And what is that? Since you relentlessly beat the drum of the evils of japanese car companies and government harming domestic car companies then I'm guessing you didn't "know" that the article's title says
