I can picture the ad campaign now. Two men's men in the back yard talking about a camping trip...one of them recounts the night, how he looked up to see bright lights...that he got dizzy and lost consciousness only to wake up to the...

*cue Starship suddenly illuminating the sky above them before zipping away, slight hint of laughter*

At that point the garage door opens on its own to reveal Ford's newest model. Both men are dumbfounded as the first country boy turns to the second and says...

"Billy...I think you got probed."

Bring it back -- everything but the name as others have mentioned. Ford seems to have this streak with giving model names that pair surprising well with the word "****."

**** Probe
**** Fusion
**** Expedition
**** Excursion
**** Flex
**** Focus
...**** Explorer...
**** Ranger
...**** Fiesta...

...**** Granada!

I don't think the Focus is enough to keep people entertained in the small coupe segment, especially with the hot hatches running around. The Probe was a hot car when it came out--a sports car, but with the practicality and economy of something much more boring like an Escort.

All the more reason to bring the Focus RS here.

Well seeing as how the Focus RS would lay waste to your average Mustang GT, 28k is a real bargin for what you get.

not to mention Cobalt SSs in my AO are going for 25k

The old car was not a bad car..but the name was always bad.
One thing I noticed about Ford vehicle names: if you add the word "****" to alot of the names, they take on a different meaning:

**** Probe
**** Ranger
**** Expedition
**** Excursion

I said this to a Ford guy once -who became angry - he responded by saying "Yeah, well, **** Camaro!" and walked away.
