Re: Scirocco returns in 2008.

I'm helping a friend redo his C. He has the VR6, so it's a little nose heavy, but it feels like go-kart.

I'm glad VW is doing this. I would probobly buy one so in 4 years, I can tell my friends I'm driving a Scirocco again, they would laugh at me, and then I could show them that.

Anyway, I covered awd when I said I wasn't interest in AWD with front-drive architecture (i.e., ~60+/40- weight distribution), so there!

I still say a 1.8T in a Rabbit would be 10x more fun than the latest tank-like "sporty" (right..) offerings from VW.

To bad they've axed the lightweight mid-engined roadster they were gonna do

I have a feeling that VW's version of "Affordable" means $35K. Your basic Jetta's running what, $25K these days?

Si-Rocko, or Si-row-co.

Doesn't really matter how it's pronounced, since it's a car you don't often talk about.

Re: Scirocco returns in 2008.

I checked the VW forums and they seem pretty sure that no new sicorro is coming out and this link to autoweek posted 4 times. so I guess that if it does come out it won't be a sicorro
