I dont car if its a goat cart thats powered by a coked up monkey with 1000ft of cargo space, its a minivan with an open carge area at best, it is in NO WAY a truck, which was my point.

Even a stripped out crew cab 4x4 colorado isn't even close, much less one with all the comparable features included.

Chevy doesn't care where you put the weight.
So, if you weigh 250 lbs like me or your mom, then subtract that from 1346 lbs. to get what you can put in the bed. With the Ridgerunt, you get 1100 lbs. in the bad maximum, plus 400 lbs. anywhere else in the vehicle.
If you weigh 150 lbs. you can put ~1200 lbs. in the bed of the Avalanche...
And that's the 1500.
If you want more bed capacity you can buy the 2500, which gives you ~2100 lbs. and you can put it anywhere you want to.
Finally, if you REALLY want bed capacity, there's always the 1500HD, which gives you 2800 lbs. or you can move all the way up to the 3500 Dually, which gives you a higher payload capacity than the Ridgerunt can TOW at over 5000 lbs.

It's a comfortable and well equiped but expensive large size compact truck. End of story.

please quit refering to that crapbox as a truck, you only encourage threxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx to keep on insisting its the worlds best value.

Everyone considers the Pontiac Aztek the biggest flop in modern times, yet it actually sold about 2500 units a month on average, that is better than both the Titan and Ridgeline.

(not sure how accurate that chart is, so don't kill me if it's not)
