Thumbs up Saw my 1st GTO and also an Saturn REDLINE VUE!

saw a silver GTO yesterday, came up on it on the highway and was like whats that? was a bit far away to tell, got closer and saw the tail and the pontiac badge..I was like S#!T its a GTO..the guy I was driving with said yup that is one. we got closer and I was impressed, yea a little bland but still looked awsome. had the nice rolling stance to it and just looked good. we sped up to get a look at it all the way around and passed it. very nice car, almost 300M (FWD300) looking and I mean that in a good way I like the 300M's alot.
all in all nice car

NOW I saw a VUE with that stuck out like 1/4 away I was like whats that...it had some crazy green almost this color <--
a little darker though. the thing was nice..I saw the ground fx and was like ohh wow a VUE redline..sharp looking suv. very nice and an eye catcher.

so saw two nice cars in the flesh. though I have seen the GTO in dealers room, just wanted to see one running in real life on the street.

It's amazing how cars that you see in pictures, auto shows, & dealer lots, have a completely different reaction when you see them among other vehicles on the street. I still have to stop and look whenever I see a 300 on the street, and the Caddy XLR stands out blocks away.

The GTO on paper looks dull, and in person, it looks good. To see one in traffic is alot like seeing something trying to slip under the radar. It doesn't exactly look rambuncious or roudy, but it doesn't look quite like it's harmless either. I love that!

I've seen a few Vue Redlines, but no Ion redlines.

I've seen one navy blue XLR and it looked great. One thing I found odd about the XLR and 4 SSRs I've seen is that I saw all of them on beautiful sunny days but the owners had the tops up. The best part about a retraclable hardtop is how easy it is to put the top down, I take my T-tops off every chance I get and they are way more of a PITA than a retraclable hardtop.

Best is looking at a black XLR... looks like a F-117.
The neon lime green Vue is pretty eye catching!

It's not too unusual. I've seen plenty of T-topped F-bodies covered on nice SoCal days, and I rarely take my t-tops off. Until I moved to Monterey this year, I'd say I had my tops off a total of maybe 6 times the previous 2 years.
