Saw a Chevy Volt on the road today

I was really surprised to see one on the road, especially here in Kentucky where I don't think they are on sale yet.

I immediately spotted the Volt out of the traffic surrounding it. The color looked something like Red Jewel Tintcoat and I've got to say its a good looking car, and lightyears better looking than any other "green car" on the market.

I hope the Volt is a HUGE hit for GM.

Saw one at the car show about 2 weeks ago, of course GM f'd up by putting it up on a pedestal where noboby was allowed to get in it, stupid idea on their part. I can't count how many people I know who went to the show with the main purpose to see the volt and then couldn't even sit in the thing. Way to go GM! I wonder how many sales you lost because of that.

My cousin has one on order.
Should see it by spring.

He told me he'd give me a ride in it. I told him I'm driving that b***h!

I test drove one at Barret-Jackson last week, it was a really nice car.
Interior fit and finish was great, but it was the quickness of the car and the way it handled that surprised me. All that electric torque was awesome

I saw one several weeks back at a business. If you into the green stuff that is a great advertisment. Sitting in front of the parking lot in front of your door front. It had the companies business stickers (magnetic vinyl i assume).

Re: Saw a Chevy Volt on the road today

I just saw a black one in my work parking lot today. It looked great.

BTW: My workplace shares a building with EnerDel's GM powertrain division. The lot is usally filled with hybrid Silverados and Escalades so I'm not surprised a Volt was there.
