I don't think so... I think they will run side-by-side.

The body on frame towing aspect is something GM can't just give up.

I think Scott basically said instead of re-doing the entire GMT-360 platform, they will likely just do a complete rebody and re-interioring (is that a word? ) the vehicle as well.

It'd probably be something along the lines of how the C6 is based heavily on the C5, but is a new car... or at least that was the impression I got.

Re: Saturn Outlook pics.

If they're trying to eliminate redundant models, replacing the Envoy with the GMC lambda and leaving the Trailblazer makes a lot of sense (since Chevy is not getting a crossover, right?).

The Outlook has just made the Ford Explorer look obsolete, hitting Ford right where it hurts.

I'm starting to get the feeling that if GM hangs on another 3 years, and Ford keeps taking these conservative safe steps, GM (along with Chrysler) may just send Ford to number 3 US maker.

Re: Saturn Outlook pics.

I'm a car guy and for the most part don't care for SUV type vehicles, but the Outlook is neat. Very nice.

Hmmmm, a trio of very attractive and seemingly well executed Saturns not to mention the interesting Prevue concept..... Aura is cool too and the Sky.... drool, drool. Are we sure this is Saturn we're talking about?

Not so long ago I would have scoffed (OK, I did) at the idea of lowly Saturn moving to occupy the vacant Oldsmobile wrung on the GM ladder above Pontiac. Looks like they may make good on that promise.... finally vehicles people will (hopefully) really notice.

Hopefully, GM is past their nadir and approaching an upswing in fortunes.... just hope more of this good product will be enough to make people set aside their feelings of being jilted, abandoned or wronged because of GM's past indifference to the market(s), quality, design and other assorted sins and at least go into a showroom to check out the new GM mettle.

Good stuff... I hope it's not too late for the General.

Outlook, makes me think of email. Do yo know when the rest of the MS Office suite will make it to Saturn?

On a serious note nice car, and as others have said the interior looks good..

Re: Saturn Outlook pics.

I gotta be honest...the interior is gorgeous, but the outside of it reminds me of a tougher looking Relay...with a Torrent-ish greenhouse.

Is my newfound DCX affiliation giving me glaucoma (sp?? C'mon Charlie, that's your field of expertise )?? I'm kinda underwhelmed by the nose...the rest is fine. I will say one thing...IMO, the Buick version will eat that for lunch. The Enclave is drop dead gorgeous...
