Ya, I mean for that much, it should run at least 8's in the 1/4, 0-60 around 2 seconds, 250 mph top speed, 1.2 on the skid pad, go from 100-0 in no more than 90 ft, be within 2 seconds of a Formula One car around Le Mans, and brew a cup of cafe con leche for the driver.

/Almost as stupid as your statement off

No but an american supercar (here big motors arnt taboo like in the EU) for $150,000 ford, i would expect GT styling and exclusivness.

10.8-6 Consecutivly in the 1/4 (on radials), no overheating issues. Maybe some panels that are slightly more flush, oh and one last thing. Not being ballhair close to a Vette in every category unless it was in the $150,000 realm as well.

But hey, who said bang for buck was all it was cracked up to be!

See Bob, they make these things called pistons, and they have rings and places for piston pins and some of them even have these amazing techonolgies called "dishes" in them.

Bah! Who needs dishes....just increase the head chamber volume and go with some flattops - no ridges for hotspots.

Then find a daily-driveable drivetrain to handle it all....LOL

What's interesting is the engine rating for the LS7 was done using the new system specified by the SAE and is the only one to do so thus far. That system uses a more extensive loading system to more accurately predict real world horse power.

Notice it has:

Titanium Rods & intake valves

Sodium filled exhaust valves

Forged Crank

Dry sump oiling.
Not since the 60's has a production car been closer to pro stock! I love it!
