Exclamation RPO Codes: LTR, LTS, LTT

I was at school on AllData today and happened upon a complete list of GM RPO codes listed up to 2007. Three caught my eye. I searched the Digivettes website for any juicy bits on those (because they're RPO code/engine crazy) and found the last time anyone talked about them was in '04; and the info was vague at best, offering up only that they were V12's coming out soon. Having said that, here is the info I got from AllData. Hopefully it's not a repost...

RPO code:LTR Alum. DOHC 7.5L V12 VVT
LTS Alum. DOHC 7.5L V12 VVT HO (high output?)
LTT Alum. DOHC 7.5L V12 VVT Turbo

What on earth could this trio of engines be going in??? Any ideas? I thought it was an interesting find. I wonder the HP figures...

I thought the program was shelved too, but then why would they bother putting those RPO codes on a repair program if they never made it to production to begin with?

I don't know...old entry maybe? I think the V12 program was canned at least a year ago. Id have to look it up to say exactly.

I think the V12's lost the cost war to the SC'ed V8's, right?

I think $3 gas scared them off.

Its too bad because it Cadillac really wants to be on the same level as BMW and Mercedes they will need a V12
