You're right. The LS2s are in the HSV models, where they put out more power than in the U.S.

I like it... BUT... the rear end with that spoiler reminds me of the Scion TC, and the front bumper cover looks like a Sentra SER mixed with a CTS-V.

Am I the only one who thinks this?

I don't think so, at least as regards to the rear spoiler. However, I for one want to speak up for KEEPING the rear spoiler. I fully support people having the choice for a spoiler delete option. For myself, I hope that whatever form this car takes in the States, an aggressive rear spoiler is standard, or at least an option.

Re: Real world Commodore pics.

Rear wing is a WHOLE LOT easier to add than it is to remove after the fact. It absolutely, positively should be OPTIONAL; could even be a dealer add-on.

I don't see why they would force you to take the spoiler. The S.A.P. was dealer installed option. Why not this.

I am about 1/2 and 1/2 on that car. Side profile is AWESOME.

Front end is where I am iffy. But you know what? This would be on my short list of cars to consider if I was in the market, and this was in our market. I can talk about the few small details I don't like, or I can talk about how the entire package as a whole is AWESOME.

Re: Real world Commodore pics.

It's the funny rear end I'm least enthusiastic about... the taillights are undersized (IMHO) with a combination of sharp and round shapes. The rest of the package is just awesome, especially with MRC and those 20" wheels and 275-width, rear tyres.

The rear end styling is only a minor criticism... as it's something most Ford owners would be seeing a lot of!!!

I hate to beat a dead horse (well, that's not really true), but THIS is what a modern automobile design looks like. For those ostriches that think the Camaro concept somehow represents a modern 21st century design, put these two side by side and perhaps you'll understand why the concept is clearly retro.

If by that you mean overwrought and excessive looking... then hell yeah, at least before the G6 approach to "clean" Pontiac styling came along. Awesome car though, I bet it looks downright sinister in black... though in truth, I'd be just as happy with an SS-V in the driveway....

As much as people , well the younger gen , absolutely nut all over themselves at the sight of a Evo ... a Pontiac like the that would be a out of the ballpark grand slam . Keep the car on the drifting circuit like the GTO , and they may just pull alot of import faithful into a new Pontiac .

I personally think HSV car is a bit too much . How about the HSV mechanicals with the look of a Calais
