The blue looks good...... but wait, so does the white and I'm not that big a fan of white.... the orange is hot too... the black.... Can't seem to decide, oh hell, just send me one with the zebra camo they use for testing; it still looks hot.

Re: Real world Commodore pics.

It's a shame thats just going to be a low volume RWD sedan market experiment for us, and not a full line run.

I like that! Especially with the 20" wheels.

Have you seen any road tests on the VE yet?

Re: Real world Commodore pics.

So how do you like this compared to your CTS?

Okay, never mind the previous question

What is the expectation regarding wheelhop? I recall that you indicated it is not the IRS, but something else on the CTS?

I would hope that Holden would figure this out, given the intended use in Oz.

Sort of. Except that it has RWD proportions, which makes a huge difference. The Mazda 6 is one of the better looking FWD family cars, IMHO, so looking sort of like a RWD Mazda 6 is a good thing.

It's 10x better than BMW "flame surfacing" or the current Lexoyta designs.

Wheels gushed all over theirs. They tested the Omega, Berlina, Calais, Calais-V, SV6, SS, and SS-V. A mix of the two V6s, the two manual, and the three automatic transmissions.

The LS2 manuals got a 13.8 and 13.9 300m, and the autos got a 13.9 and 14.0, with trap speeds from 166-168km/h. For comparison, a previously tested M3 got 13.7 and a 300C SRT8 got 13.8. Wheels tests two-up (at least that's my recollection) and times are generally a little slower than the U.S. magazines. A Lexus GS450h got 14.2 at 168.

When my Australian coworkers visit, I have them pick up a magazine or two for me.

Re: Real world Commodore pics.

The cars tested were L98's, not LS2's. I've not got it in front of me, but wheels have the LS2 cars in their latest edition. I'll get the numbers when I get home (unless someone beats me to it).

It's the way the IRS deals with the energy harmonics coming from the engine cradle. I hope Holden has got it figured out as well. I'm told it's addressed on the '08 CTS.
