Trucks haven't used it since 98, C6 doesn't use it---no reason to keep it around. Bigger is better afterall.
Really hope they drop the 4.2L I6 in the fullsized trucks--that 4.3L needs to go.

The 5.7 in trucks were different then the 5.7 LS1/6.

In the SUVs that is (Tahoe, Yukin, Suburban ect) but the pickup trucks haven't seen the 5.7L since 98 and it was the highest volume application
Whatever the case the 5.7 has been slowly weaned out of GM products and there is no reason to keep it around anymore.
Long live the 6.0L!
