Pony cars coming to NASCAR
I would bet they will still be a tubular frame chassis. I could see a sealed fuel injected production based motor (LPE was building LS series motors this way for a spec series).

I don't see a problem with a tube chasis. Let's consider the safety of the drivers in all this. I want them to allow fuel injection, stock bodies dropped over the tube chasis, and OHC. I say if Ford thinks their OHC motors are better than a pushrod engine, let them prove it on the track. And last but not least force Toyota to build something cool to compete?
They will in GAC, granted they are somewhat based on production stuff, but I think thats about as close as your gonna get unless somebody wants to do something like the Miller Mustang series and include GM plus Dodge (and that would be nothing but WIN!)
Definitely a step in the right direction. If they brought in the Camaro I think I might actually watch NASCAR.
But really there should be a race series like Trans Am where the car companies race cars that you can actually get, unfortunately I don't think that's ever happening again.

I guess GM is going to drop the ball on this one too.
If those pictures are NASCAR's best attempt at bringing back pony cars to racing, I wont watch. Just use stock bodies with the COT underneath it.
