These sound good. I think it strengthens Pontiac as a brand. Having a bunch of good cars that all look similar, they'll drive by and it won't be "There's a Firebird, those are awesome" It'll be "There's a Pontiac, Pontiacs are awesome" like BMW has now.
Its worth noting that BMW did get there by having awesome cars, not by having cars that look alike.

Corporate styling sucks. Remember when each car had a real identity? A unique look? An Emblem, like Mustang, Camaro, Thunderbird, Celica, Impala, etc.? Stylists were free to make the cars look good, and look good they did. I don't even know why they give individual cars names anymore, since they all look alike. They should just put the corporate badge on the front and call them all "pontiacs" or "BMWs", and everyone could drive a brand.

Most cars today don't really have names anymore. IMO passenger car individuality started to die when alphanumeric badges became en vogue. Does the CTS badge really stir up any more emotion than IS300, or even Caddy's own DTS for that matter?

I agree with that! I much perfer "Firebird", "Mustang", or "Corvette" to "350Z" or "330Ci", etc...

You gotta have designations for different models, and people will always like having an emblem to differentiate their cars from the others, especially if its the top/expensive model.

Like the ///M from BMW or the new GXP from Pontiac.

BMW did get there by having quality cars, and I'm being the optimist and thinking Pontiac can improve their quality as well. Looks wise the cars are a helluva lot better than they were.
