hey, I thought the G6 was suppose to have the new sunroof that folded up??

guess they saw the price tag on what one would cost and desided against it.

The control ***** are alright, and the speedo/tach/all that stuff looks pretty good, but thats it. I don't even think it touches the Nissans interior IMHO. I thought the Altima's interior was pretty damn nice for an 'affordable" car. Very plush for what it is. The Accords is even better. GM did do well with the interior in this one compared to the last one, but its still not great yet.

...and WTF, did these people alreaddy take delivery of a G6? It says "Ryans G6 pics" like its his??

 

If you're referring to the panoramic roof then yes it is optional, a more conventional power sunroof is optional as well. I didn't think that the car was available yet, there's as of yet no "build your own" option at the Pontiac site for the G6.

 

The wood grain is tacky at least in that Accord. Reminds me of something I puked up once. The G6 isn't so bad, the colors don't contrast nearly as much, though I'd personally take the car without the wood grain entirely.

 

350Z > G6

G35 Coupe > G6

 

I cannot imagine someone cross shopping a G6 and a 350Z, so that statement is void of any insight.

G35 coupe is, what, 7k more expensive than a G6?

 

Id like to see what it looks like with the metalic trim. There were 2 Black Maxx's on the lot, one with teh tan/wood interior, other with the grey/metalic trim. Wood is just not my thing, but in these pictures it looks pretty good.
And the Accord's interior isnt really that good. Honda hides its crappy plastics well.
I cant wait to see that hard top vert, I think thats gunna be a big hit. The coupe is gunna do some damage.

Pffffffft. I've driven (and rode in) several Accords also, and yes, they do have a few cheap plastics in some areas (and some of them aren't even hidden at all). But there are just so many high quality materials that offset the the cheap ones and just the overall feel of the interior is so comfortable and plush. Even though I have a dislike for many japanese and german interiors, I must say Honda definately nailed it on the head with the Accord. My g/f went with me on a test drive and didn't want to get out. She wanted to sign the papers for the car while sitting in it

 

G6 GXP > RWD G35

Simply imagine the steering wheels says Pontiac. All of the sudden it looks cheap to those that are brainwashed into thinking American automakers cant make a nice car.
There may be some small differences between cars, but most of it is percieved quality.

That new Pontiac G6 interior looks super nice!

 

The moderators of GrandamGT.com got a weekend with those two cars in the pics so that they could, I presume, start forming pontiac-g6.com around it..

They've said that the interiors are much nicer than the current Grand Am, but there's a whole lot of things that they aren't allowed to say about the cars right now due to NDA's.

I wonder if Jason will get a chance to drive around the new Camaro (if it comes out), just before it comes out?

 

Considering he got to drive around a C6 about 2 months before they'll hit showrooms, and that he and Scott are pretty good friends, I'm sure he will.

Re G6 Interior: I like it all with the exception of the area around the "G6" plaque... it is boxy and there is a very obvious and unnecessary break between the center console and the lower console. I absolutly LOVE the gauges though.. VERY C6... my kinda taste

Re Honda Accord Interior: Get rid of that god awful wooden console trim for starters. And the vents are very blah... interiors should NOT have striaght cut rectangles, squares etc... all corners should be rounded and flowing.

If I had to pick between the two based on interior.. I would have to say the G6... damn those gauges are sexy

 

I've never seen a Scion Tc in white before...of wait, that's the G6

The rear is a near mirror image of the Tc.
