It is still supposed to have the V6 which I think is a bad move no matter how you try to rationalize it. Also, I thoght the car wasn't too bad looking in the other post but now that I see more of it, it looks terrible.

Honda doesn't have a production v8, and seems intent on sticking with I-4's and v6's. Honda is a bit tree-huggy and they seem to put a big emphasis on gas mileage, emissions, etc…. Ironic how GM's ls-1/6 gets superior gas mileage when compared to the NSX's 3.2.

I think they’ve openly said they’ll stick with 6’s since they think they’ll have no need for an 8. That’ll hurt them though. Two of their flagship cars (RL and NSX) have v-6’s while the competition have v8’s and in the case of the Viper v10’s. They really could use a v8. But I think they might have found a way to keep the 6, and still get the performance an 8.

You've heard of the Honda Dual-note concept car right? It's a 400hp hybrid concept with an electric motor up front driving the front wheels and a v6 motor out back driving the rear wheels. It’s supposed to get exceptional gas mileage while having 400 horses on tap. I think the NSX might head in this direction. Will the NSX be the first 400+hp Hybrid supercar? Maybe. It should be interesting. Personally, i'd much rather see a N/A 400hp v8.

I'm pretty positive that it's the new NSX with a different name. I believe a new NSX is due sometime in 2005. What other Honda could it be?
