I have a feeling that the Equinox base price is going to be around $25,000 while a real-world equipped model we be near $30,000.

My wife's AWD V6 Saturn Vue loaded with everything minus leather was around $25,000 and the Equinox is longer and appears to have a more upscale interior and exterior as well.

I would guess the the 2004 Vues with the 250 HP V6 Honda engine will be more expensive then the out-going 2003 180HP Vues as well

Put me down as liking the Equinox's looks as well, and I'm usually not a big fan of trucks. A name change from Tracker seems like a really good move too.

What's with the lame names of the cars? Reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Homer's long lost brother chews out his executives when they want to name a new car the "Persephone".

But I guess the names are a good match for the cars...bland and confusing.
