i'm not one to compare models and thier behaviors and styles...but this certainly shares a lot of character traits with tacoma. however, that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Arent the current Rangers made in the Northeast?

It's definately more attractive! I'm glad to see them concentrating on that segment now.

I REALLY liked the Colorado when it first came out, especially the Z71 Crew in Orenge But the I5 is unfortunate, and even worse, they havent scored very well with sales. The S10 was a much better truck.

Prior to buying my GTO, I was considering keeping my Camaro and buying an FX4 Ranger extended cab 4x4 M5, it retailed for 26K and since it was a year old with 15,000 miles it was only going for 14K!

It would have been fun for a wile, but glad I didnt get it!

I think they really screwed up as well with the interior's of the Colorado/Canyon... they are very boring, cheap and bland...

I thought GM was sinking all of their money into trucks and that was where they made their money? *Sarcasm

Aren't most of the Tacomas that are sold in the US still built in Fremont, California at the NUMMI plant?

P.S. Looks like they build slightly under 200,000 Tacomas each year at NUMMI. (Not sure how old this info is.)

I was the same way. I liked them at first, but now I miss the old S10.

Me too, but then the interior, I5, and poor gas mileage let me down after I finally got to try one out. Add in the fact that GM priced them like they were heads and shoulders above anything in their class, and I quickly lost interest. Maybe that was fortunate, since a buddy bought one and has had way more trouble than a new "we make quality vehicles now, honest!" GM car should have.

I'm with Chuck! - is this serious?

It looks like a smaller (Honda Ridgeline + cartoon character) - any seriousness.
