ok, i just saw the second commercial that cites the pedestrian crash saftey standards for frontal impact. the first was a Honda commercial about a week or so ago and i just saw one for the VW Passat.

has any one else seen either of these or others i haven't seen?

could this start a trend with automakers even though there are no government standards?

I hope that if there is a trend here, it doesn't get out of control. All of the cars I have ever seen that are being built to comply with these standards don't inspire me at all. Hopefully someone will make one that doesn't look awful.


By the way, I like your avatar. Cowboy Bebop is easily one of my favorite shows in that genre.
