Did you leave that 125hp wet shot on again? I told you that would kill your mileage in the city!

Speaking of Charger cop cars, have you noticed how the TV shows are showing Chargers? It's like Dodge is giving them to the studios for exposure. I have seen them on the show Wanted, but it was a personal car for one of the offocers. CSI Las Vegas has Captain Brass driving one as his official car, and NCIS has a ****load of them in their fleet, I saw one episode where there were so many in the parking lot that they got in the wrong car.

I had noticed this. Woody, the cop on Crossing Jordan, is driving a Charger, too.

You're joking right? GIVING the cars to studios? Try PAYING the studios to use the car

ANY time you see a branded product in a movie you can be sure someone paid the producer to include it.

NYC bought 15 hemi Chargers to try them out. They said the 110mph cutoff in the cars they are using now just doesnt cut it. Michigan State Police tested them and said they can run all day on the track at 150mph.

I would be quite concerned if NYC cops felt the need to go more than 110mph. On the highways though for other cities is a different story...

Eh... it depends. In situation where the car is scripted to be destroyed then most often you hear of them calling it even. They're 'given' the car and the manufacturer knows not to expect it back. The (second, I think?) Matrix, on the highway scene, was a prime example of this.
