I've read that the winners had to pay $7000 in taxes.. or sell the car and use the profits to sell taxes.. or forfiet the car..

however, Pontiac stepped in and said it will pay the taxes.

Anyways, from what I've been reading all around the internet, and hearing from people, especially outside the car world is,

"Man, I wouldn't want that POS anyways." or "I'd sell that POS and get a real car!"

Again, here lies GM's massive problem.. Customer perception.. Its a brand new car, with a brand new name, an I believe on a brand new platform? People have probably never even seen it before, let alone sat in it, or god forbid drive it.... Yet its already a "POS"! Its so sad, yet I can't help to laugh about it!

 

I haven't heard anyone have that reaction, though I do believe it could happpen...

Of course, most of these people would say that no matter what car it was...

A Focus would be a POS, and a Corvette would be so expensive they'd sell it and keep the money instead of "wasting it on a car"... I just take it all with a grain of salt. Some people complain about everything, even when it has nothing to do with them...
