'If' Saturn survives, I bet that's the styling of their plug-in hybrid.

Unfortunately it'll turn into a Buick plug-in, then GM will be obligated to give Pontiac a Gatoraide-sponsored G2 plug-in hybrid, and we'll end up with four of the same car.

I doubt this would become a rebadged Buick or Saturn. It is a rebadged Chevy Volt. The badging will likely be North America=Volt, Europe=Ampera, China=Buick variant, Australia=Holden.

It just makes more sense to do this.

Actually, Europe also gets the Chevy Volt.

The Ampera may be the Opel version of the Volt, but not simply the European

How many versions will we have?
We have the Volt, the Amp(era). Will Vauxhall get a version? Will Holden get a version?
Maybe these can be called the Ohm and the Watt.

I can hear it now:

"Hey mate, nice new car! What is it?"
"A new Holden Watt."
"That's what I am asking, What kind of car is it?"
"I just said it is a WATT!"
...

Abbot and Costello will roll in their graves knowing their comedy may be perfected by a marketing department.
