Saw it yesterday. Not really a fan of the front end (and like Javelins).

The idea is pretty good, though.

I think I'd be happy to buy a new AMX if one ever came out. Obviously that AMX concept is supposed to look like a 70...my fav. year! Here's a picture of my 69

AMC was always ahead of its time. Its a shame the company Craplerized. AMC had inovative Ideas that were way ahead of its time. They were in the sport compact class before the Asians were. They had AWD v8 cars.... just cool stuff for its time.

DC still have the rights to the brand? I think they should offer raised wagon/car-based SUVs with the name. DC doesn't have the truck-based SUVs and car-based SUVs like Toyota, Nissan, Ford, and Chevy have. Heck, what do they have to compete? The Liberty? Make AMC the car-based version of Jeep.

Bring back the Eagle and have it compete against the Subarus/Audis/Volvo wagons of the world.

Offer a car-based compact SUV to compete against CR-V/RAV4/Forester/Escape. Liberty is too rough and tumble for some.

Offer a small, sportier 'fun' SUV to complement the Wrangler and compete against Scion and Element.

Larger 7-passenger model to go against the Explorer/MDX/RX330/Pilot class.

I think that would be a really good idea. I hate the fact the subaru calls thier wagons the "worlds first sport utility wagon" when everybody knows the AMC eagle wagon was. How could you argue otherwise???
