Hey if GM wants to go after Ford's Mustang why do they name at after another horse- "Clydesdale" 
(and it even starts with a "C")

comes with rwd v8 in the base model, supercharged v8 in the ss, superfast, supercool, and looks like a modern Camaro.
but it only exists when you turn the lights off

IMO the following 5 (not in any particular order) are the best names for a new Chevy coupe if GM decides not to call it a Camaro or Chevelle:
1. SSC
2. Laguna
3. Raptor
4. Panther
5. Inferno

I like Laguna too...I thought of that one before I even read this post...
Or, how about dragging up another dead GM name...Alero?? Here's the new tagline...
"Introducing the new 2007 Chevy Alero...older sibling to the Aveo. Alero: Rhymes with the name of the Chevy you really want, but we are too chicken to give you...Genuine Chevrolet"
See? Old name and taglines...no new creativity needed, Chevy
