Official HHR pics.
Re: Official HHR pics.
Looks pretty good. Interior is awsome, I love the Solstice wheel. nice to see rims bigger than 16"s and the remote starter as standard equipment is a brilliant move and will probably draw a lot of people to this car.
Powertrain choices look good, and ....wait..... is that a manual in a Chevy????? offered with both engines??????

It looks a bit better than the sketches shown previously, but not enough to change my opinion. I still say this will be a disappointment to GM.
Re: Official HHR pics.
I'm completely impressed here. The drawings looked bland and horrible, this really isn't too bad. In fact i kind of like it. I think it looks way better than a PT cruiser. And for some reason i can really see that car at the beach with two surf boards strapped to the top. Something i could never picture with a PT cruiser.
I even like the grill, something i'm sure a lot don't agree with. The wheels are nice too IMO.
EDIT: I'm curious how much this thing weighs? With a 170hp engine as the top choice i'm hoping it's not much over 3,000 lbs. If this thing i weighing in at 3,600 pounds or more forget it.

Some people are to judgemental here. If you had never seen a PT before this would knock your socks off but because GM takes a long time to get things to market you call it a copy cat. BTW it is BIGGER and definately looks better put together.
I not only really like this but may buy one in a year to two, when finances allow.
Re: Official HHR pics.
I showed the HHr pic to my wife and she said it looked like a mix of a Dodge Durango and PT cruiser and I have to say she is right- Look at this pic- http://www.usautosales.com/newrigs/D...ed2004blue.jpg
I've been of the opinion that GM should have used the SSR's design as the basis of their mid-size truck line instead of producing the truck as is, & doing the Colorado with the "angry toaster" look and the same-look body design we've been seeing on trucks for all these years.
Now I'm convinced I was right!
This is a distinctive looking ride. If it had a bed, was the Colorado, and priced as a normal small truck, I think it would pretty much smash it's competitors pretty decisively. I also think it would stand out much better as a Trailblazer.
Instead, it's going to forever be linked as a competitor to the PT Cruiser, regardless as to how nice it looks (and I really like it... it actually looks better than GM's official drawings), and isn't going to be as distinctive and stand alone as a FWD crossover as it would have been as a mid size truck line.
BTW: Now THAT'S a good interior!
