Me neither, but with minimal incremental costs to make the thing, and if they keep sales goals realistic (say 5-10k per year), it could do okay.

Personally it's not my cup of tea. But I will be getting its sedan brother.

that's just it, it doesnt HAVE to sell well (in volume).. even 1 sale would be 1 more sale than if they only had the G8 sedan and thus more profit

You're assuming that they wouldn't have bought a G8 or another GM product

As long as it makes GM a PROFIT (something they have forgotten how to do) I'm all for it.

I'm not saying I don't like it, but I can see 10K units per year being reasonable.

There was absolutely zero chance that I would buy the sedan, and now I have publically commited myself to buying the ST.

I despise sedans.

Also 10k per year is about all Holden can build.

I might have gone and bought a G8 this week (as I got on offer to bump my GM Card credit to $2,000), but it was excluded. Did go shop the new Malibu though, very nice car.

Would've been tought to buy a G8 anyway, since they aren't to the dealers yet

I am very interested in the G8; hopefully there will be one at our local car show in mid-March. I had a couple of El Camino's back in the day, but I already have a truck. I think the G8 might be a great touring car, which is what I'll be looking for next time around. I have been following the new Camaro along, but after seeing the interior shots I have to believe it's being targeted at someone half my age.

Dang that's ugly. Looks like you are either going to hate it or love it.

Yeah it's pretty ugly looking, I can't see that being popular over here.

Sorry, but that looks like someone took a picture of a bunch of matchbox toys to me.

I'm happy for CaminoLS6, I know he really wanted this. Other than that, I'm sort of indifferent.
