Not exactly confident with Ford's future.
Re: Not exactly confident with Ford's future.
[QUOTE=guionM]Just a marketing slogan at the moment. By the time it becomes permanently associated with Chevrolet by everyone, Chevy will have a stream of new models coming out.
I think RP's words here were "I don't know how I'm going to get them all on display".
Although I've been a chevy guy for over 20 years, I'm not going to wait forever for another Camaro to come out when the Mustangs look as good as they do and are reasonably priced (I'd buy one any day over a GTO).

With the new and likely final Panther coming up shortly, it's a good opportunity to inject some excitement in these cars, this time for real.

Funny thing about the Marauder... I'm seeing more of them now than when they were for sale. I saw 4 in the last 2 weeks, from country club parking lot to the Mustang show in Burlington, NC. They are out there, and IMO the cars look sinister as all get-out with the windows tinted.
If Ford had dropped the price to $25k or put more Tq to the wheels - they'd have hit one out of the park.

Re: Not exactly confident with Ford's future.
I've also been seeing quite a few of them. Did the price of them used drop or something??
You're right, those things with dark tint window DO look sinister.
I agree 100%. Mustangs and GTOs are looking really good.
2004 GTOs are now down to the mid 20s.

I have been smitten with their cars for the last 3-4 years.
The Aussies have it going on down there!

I've been looking at their prices and they haven't dropped a whole lot from what I've seen. At least not around here.

And let me throw my hat into the drooling over the Aussie Fords. I wish there was a way we could bend the ear of the Ford people and convince them to bring that sedan over here. I love the Panther cars and I'd truly hate to see Ford end up with nothing RWD other than their trucks and the Mustang if the Panther platform gets nuked.
