On the HD it says Vortech all the way on the black molding. Here's a pic from the list where you can see it clearly.

Now the Black Silverado HD said (Allison Transmission DURAMAX) in the same location as Vortech did on the other HD.

 

Does the black go all the way across like another cowl piece? It doesn't look like it and it would be ugly if it does.

That must have took some work to get up there... Looks dangerous lol

 

Now why couldn't they make the Yukon front clip look as nice instead of making it look like a fish head? Oh well......direct bolt on I am sure.

As is the usual trend w/ GM styling lately, the cars/trucks look MUCH better in person!

 

No, it doesn't. The black plastic pieces are just on the two ridges of the hood and not in the center. In person they blend in with the hood since I didn't even notice them when I was at the fair.

 

So I saw one on the lot today. They just had one, and it was brown with the 4.8. And a big sticker above the $30k price, pointing out that it had no dealer mark-up. Thats good and all, but is it going to be that big of a deal? I would hope that no one marks up a truck that is going to sell in that high of numbers.
