I went to check out the State Fair here in Dallas on opening day and there were lots of cool cars and trucks there.

There were about 8 of the new 07 Silverados and 6 07 Sierras at the fair. The new Heavy Duty Silverado and Sierra were also there and I got pics of those.

I even saw Mr.Settlemire (Fbodfather) himself there to answer questions on the new trucks.

After seeing the new Silverado in person I like it alot better than when I saw the first pics of the trucks as drawings which I thought sucked.

Now, I like the design of the 07 Silverado more than the 99-06 trucks!

Also, I have some pics of GM, and other brand, cars and trucks that are at the fair.

 

I like the Chevys a lot better than the GMCs. But there is too chrome on the bumpers of the HD chevy.

 

Wow, I wasn't sure of the new Silverado's but those close up pictures look really really good. You see some of the sheet metal detail which seems to be amazing.

Good job GM design!

That Black one with the chrome wheels is begging me to order it, heh. Lift it 2-3 inches and put some nice 33" meats under there and it would look REAL NICE!

I'm confused by the Z06 pics???

 

Only thing I can think of is it has painted fuel rail covers on it to show them off because they're a GM accessory.
But having the LS2 covers on a Z06 is kinda strange!
However with that big power supply in the engine bay (I guess powering the demo lights), maybe that hood isn't supposed to be open.

 

The panel fit and gaps are impressive! Especially rewinding to the hood side gap of the previous frount end.

Verry classy and elegant looking trucks!

Thanks for the great pics! Any doubts I had before are gone. Both trucks are amazing. The detail and design are great! I cant wait for these to hit the streets.

 

These pics totally changed my view on the trucks. The black crew cab LTZ with the chrome wheels is amazing.

I've noticed the black moulding next to the cowl on the HD models that says VORTEC on it, seems like it doesn't go all the way across. Any pics showing that closer?
