Yeah, I know. My point was that if the LS7 is the same as the Viper V10, why don't we get an equal truck derivative. Honestly, the truck would probably due better with the blown motor, given the nature of the LS7's expense costs.

 

So will the 6.4, since it probably has the same/similar block to the 7.0, have the same heads? If so, I would think that they would be cast heads without the port work. Talk about a poormans LS7. Though a little money at the 6.4 and you'll have a great engine with little work.

 

While that is sure to be bad ***, it can be noted that the LS7 makes more torque than any other naturally aspirated gasoline automotive V8 in production including the 496cid BBC Number 2 is the AMG 6.2L V8 with 5ft-lbs less, but 5hp more using a variable intake manifold, variable valve timing, higher static compression, 4 valves per cylinder, and more RPM.
