Motortrend: GTR vs GT2 vs 599 vs ZR1

120 mph from the GT-R in the 1/4 mile? So we are back to the wildly inconsistent (and illogical) numbers again...
The car has a power to weight ratio similar to an LS3 Corvette. I'll buy the low 0-60 times and ETs based on the sticky tires and awd with launch control, but I don't see how a car that heavy is trapping 120 mph. 115-117 seems more realistic...
the heady GT-R not surprisingly more than made up for its power disadvantage, blitzing from 0 to 60 mph (using its catapult-like launch-control system) in just 3.2 seconds -- tying the mighty, 612-horsepower V-12 Ferrari and leaving our test team shaking their heads in disbelief.
wow, a Chevy beat a Ferrari and a Porsche (Nissan also) in MotorTrend!
I do agree with them about the ZR1 interior. I wonder if the designers ever thought a production Corvette would be able to exceed 200mph?
