Again, so you don't have to Google the competition's best-claimed Ring times yourself, here they are: Porsche GT2 - 7:32, Nissan GT-R - 7:29, Corvette ZR1 - 7:22.4 and the Dodge Viper ACR - 7:22.1

Holy crap, only 0.3 seconds off the Viper ACR? Given that the Viper uses Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires (which are basically race tires), and that the ZR1 uses Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s (which are very good, but still street tires), that's amazing!
I'd love to see what a ZR1 could do with the Cup tires.
