Seems Ford was testing the GT in my neck of the woods when I was there (they were running around Long Beach the day I was at work, and I was up in Marin County when it was just over in Sonoma. )

That car is simply awesome. Maybe its just me but Ford is getting cooler and cooler. All of the special edition Mustangs from the Cobra R to the Mach 1 and Bullit, the SVT Cobras in themselves w/ IRS are neat, and now they build this. Not to mention they have had cars like the SVT Contour, Focus and Lightning.

Ford seems to have every type of cool car market covered. I'm starting to like them more and more. Save me from going to "the dark side!"

 

We were debating this at LS1.com a week or so ago and a member there mentioned that the current Z06 was almost as quick around the track if not quicker and that was from a Ford Engineer. Take it for what it is, but everyone was puzzled... very strange indeed.
