Question Lutz

I really like the changes that Lutz is doing to caddillac and the gm lineup as a whole.

However he is a old man. I remember hearing somewhere he is in his late 60's or early 70's.

Have you ever thought about what would happen to gm once he leaves and retires.

Will GM follow Lutz's ways or fall back into the toilet again?

From my understanding, Lutz does not plan on being at GM but for a short period. He's there solely to get them back on track. His plan is to establish new practices and procedures (instill a new way of thinking) for GM to follow so they can maintain and continue to improve in the needed areas after he departs.

Bob Lutz was originally contracted to be at GM for 3 years (which would expire next September, but he's agreed to stick around beyond that.

Being appointed "Vice Chairman" probally had something to do with his change of heart.
