Little Future Vehicle Info

Upcoming cars to look out for:
New BMW 7 series in 2008
New Wrangler in 2007
2006 Jag roadster (mustang platform?)
2008 Lincoln coupe (new modified DEW?)

And look for major platform changes from Ford. Look for huge "master platforms." Look for full size trucks and suv's to move together first. hint: Abbreviated name for the movie back in the 80's starring Arnold and Linda Hamilton.

Just something to pick your teeth over...

Don't know about anything else, but Lincoln is getting a coupe within the next 3 years. So is Cadillac.

How much change will it see? Hopfully it won't be too drastic and will be received better than the Liberty was at first.

Wrangler has a hard core following, if Jeep was smart they would make the 2007 be able to handle a Hemi. Not that it should have the Hemi from the factory but so people can do V8 swaps without having to buy a 350 V8 from the competition.

Also the name of a most popular form of mercury-vapor light used for street illumination... (tougher hint than IREngineer's )

FWIW, I agree with everything in the post. It has been eluded to in another thread about 2 weeks ago, but not in such a clear and outright manner as you did here!

PS - I named the new Jag unit in the post I am referring to above... if you can find it!
