Cadillac will truly be a world brand once this car's out.

It doesn't try to be anyone else, and it's distinctly Cadillac..... and a extremely good way.

Ehhhh....looks awkward. I'll have to wait for NAIAS to see if it looks good in person. Personally, the interior could have gold in it but it'd still look ugly to me.

If the CTS-V is intended to get the LS7, does that mean it will also get a large hike in price compared with the previous generation LS6 and LS2 CTS-V? Similar to the price increase from the C5 Z06 to the C6 Z06?

Loaded 07 CTS sport with every option but automatic hits $42,275, and CTS-V picks up at $53,3700 to start, ~$10,000 differential. If the 2008 CTS with all those new goodies tops out at say $45,000, there would seem to be a a bigger gap if CTS-V goes to $65,000 or more.

Is there any hint that GM may offer something in between the 300HP DI V6 and the 500 some HP V8?

Now that is one sweet Caddy. The interior is a major upgrade over the current model. I can't wait to see what the CTS-V will look like.

I like the huge sun roof. Im not too big on the grille. It looks like Mercedes competition, whereas I expected BMW competition. I saw the last CTS as looking more sporty than typical Caddy. This looks like pure luxury. I guess that differentiates the G6?

Those pics. from the Autoblog of the unveiling make the car look a whole lot better. Something about those GM pics. make the rear of the car look like its up in the air.

I thought we saw a pic of the part of the rear, back from the 60min. show that showed a whole lot narrower taillights. With the current taillights it looks kind of like the STS from the rear.

I can't wait to see in person to see what kind of impact it will have, the interior looks great, I wonder how many color combos they will have with the leather.

Its going to be interesting to see how much visal impact they will give the CTS-V when it comes out.

You got it!! The car is beautiful!

Looks like they got the body to tire gap down to a minimum. A low stance absolutely makes the car. I love it.

I was just looking at the thread on Cheers and Gears, and someone posted pics of the dashboard next to the previous car's, along with shots of the those in the new for '07 G35, the IS350, the Acura TL, and the BMW 335i.

In my humble (and maybe a bit biased ) opinion, this CTS interior is now at the top of that class. Exterior too.

It is still a tad larger/heavier than the 3-Series and IS, so it will be interesting to see how a comparison plays out.

But in terms of style, I'm calling this car the class of the class.

Just awesome.

Is there a nav unit display hidden in there?

There's something about those 3 gauges that I just don't like.. I dunno what it is... I just don't think I'm a fan of those shiny rimmed ovals..

Nose looks kind of wierd when I first saw it, then a few more pics, it grew on me.

I'm more excited about the Pontiac G8 personally, with a 6 speed and a V8 Maybe that'll change when I see the CTSv

I think my main complaint when I first saw pictures is how low the grill and the front of the car is. The hood and front 1/4 panels drop from the firewall quite a bit as they come forward and that makes the grill and headlights lower than they were on the previous CTS and much lower than the VE cars. I think that is what threw off my opinion at first.

I dont really like it. In fact I really dont like it. But I don't think pictures do the current CTS justice either, so we'll see if this is better on the road too...
