There are some interesting comments. Given the name of the site, I would've thought I'd see more negative GM remarks, but there is some good input there.

You are right, for the most part, the comments are pretty mellow. I don't see why anyone could be against a car like this. Wonder what it will cost? People better not expect it to be a cheap throw away car.

And you know what? I don't hate the looks. For what it is, it looks quite nice.

They just got a yes in my book and according to the poll results so far, it got a yes in just about everyone elses.

I recall Lutz saying that GM would have to follow Toyota down the 'alternative energy' route as it's all about image and perceptions... Toyota is perceived to be more enviro friendly than GM even though the Prius might actually pollute the earth more than an equivalent small car.
