Are you thinking about the 427 TT numbers maybe?
actually i was thinking LS2 GTO for some reason. and a 100 HP gain, while good, hardly warrents the cost of a TT setup. but since it is an LS1 goat, i agree its badass.

Turbo's would offer 100% stock like driveablity in normal driving with a stock engine . That would be your motivation

Lingenfelter is horribly overpriced . That poor guy most likely shelled out over $10K for that set up . Sweet car though.

Yes but if he got the car for $26K, that puts the total at $36K. 600Hp TT GTO at that price is a much better value than a $35k 400HP Mustang Cobra with a 11 year old interior.

Yes , but a set up like that does come cheaper at an equal level of parts . I better not comment anymore as I have first hand expirience ( and a pretty much lack of respect ) of Lingenfelters "impecable quality" with a pretty high $$ 2000 corvette . I will say , their magazine cars deliver the goods and thats about all I will give them .

Again though , SWEET *** GTO

Yes. Nearly any builder can throw money and parts at an an enigne and make stratospheric HP numbers in a car that's driven on the street (but not necessarily street legal). On it's own I just don't find that particulalrly impressive. Putting together a package that's both streetable, fast and *passes emissions* (which is arguably the far biggest obstacale facing modern street legal performance) with a freaking 36k mile warranty (for goodness sake - how many engine builders offer that) is more impressive to me. Plus, I honestly can't recall having ever read or heard about anyone complaining about the quality of Lingenfelter's engine packages.

looks great, but i'd expect more power from a Lingenfelter anything.

I have one blower and Im making close to 1000 FWHP and 830-850 rwhp depending on thy dyno and the day.... LPE is not the holy grail anymore. YES they do fantastic work. But you can get the same for less now.
