For some reason or another, this past weekend I saw my 1st one on the street up in San Fran, and now I see at least a couple every day. Boy do thes things have presence! I think Chrysler has a home run with this one.

By the way: Did anyone notice that Car & Driver Magazine got only a 0.1 second difference 0-60 mph between the 300C and the Cadillac CTSv!

Cadillac needs to fix that axle hop problem!

Thats what I am saying. When I brought this up in a CTSV thread, I was flamed. Doesn't seem justified for the cost (near 20K difference) except for the techno stuff which I don't really give a damn about.

I'm surprised you haven't driven one yet? I got my hands on a 300C just about two weeks ago.

Mercedes' multilink rear suspension design has been around since the 190E and it has worked well since day one. It makes sense that the 300C has a decent IRS because every MB product has had a good rear suspension set up for the last two decades.

In contrast, GM tries to "reinvent the wheel" with every product cycle. Perhaps they could have gotten it right if Lutz hadn't turned the CTSv into another rush job, but it seem as if that is exactly what Lutz does every time.

Consider it pre-production developement work for the 5th gen IRS.

I really really love the 300c,

saw a few 300's limited at a dealer, the car has presence, and believe it or not that that big at all. the rear looks amazing, but yeah, I will take my 300c in black, or tan on pearl white, tint the windows all around, and you got yourself a luxo cruiser that will take a stock lt1/ =)

All the power is locked up in the factory ecu. I am waiting on a programmer for my truck. Can't wait to see what she'll do after that. Preliminary reports from Superchips is claiming 30 rwhp.

if you think anyone out side of the performance market gives a crap or even know difference between rwd and fwd, you are mistaken.

The success of 300, magnum, charger, the whole lx platform comes from the simple fact that DCX gives more for less. Great designs, great power, great looks, great interiors, luxury, and most importantly, GREAT PRICE!

Also, doing tons of commercials does not make it worse, did you see some of those 300c commercials? wow, tell me the last time you saw as many commercials by gm,

Furthermore, DCX teaming up with Trump and advertising on the apprentice was a fantastic move! Every commercial, there was a Chrysler car. heck, even in the show they were showing crossfires everywhere. even featured them twice, including season finale.
