Jeep to double lineup. Includes Neon based Compass
Jeep will get the entry level Compass, a new Wrangler that includes a 4 door, and the Jeep Commander.
ALSO: The Neon is DEAD!!
It's going to be renamed when it's replaced.

The four-door Wrangler-like model is expected to begin production in 2006, at Chrysler’s Toledo South Assembly Plant in Ohio, which will undergo a $900 million renovation starting this fall. A totally redesigned version of the Wrangler will also be made there
I thought the Wrangler was going to stay the same forever.

The Neon name is already dead in Canada. When the car received it's last freshening the name was jettisoned in favour of SX 2.0 - I kid you not.

I'd have to see a 4-door Wrangler before passing judgement, but my initial reaction is
The Compass sounds like a cute little car for recent graduate tree-huggers. My oldest boy should love it!

Wow, one of the first Jeeps not to have the ability to have 4wd or AWD drive. Way to live up to the "Jeep" name. Nothing says Jeep like FWD 4 bangers.
