Finally. An SSR to kill for!
Re: Finally. An SSR to kill for!
A Supercharged 2005 SSR with an LS2 and 6-spd is just about the only vehicle that could prevent me from waiting for a 2007-8 Chevy Coupe that isn't called "Camaro".
Re: Finally. An SSR to kill for!
Definitely looks better than in stock trim. If nothing else a supercharger should have been there from the get go - it might have peaked interest in the vehicle. I wonder what kind of sales projections there are for when they put in the 390HP LS2 and if chevy plans to bump up production at all. IT seems to me like the SSR isn't really even advertised as a fun car, and from what i've read it's somewhat yawn inspiring to drive. To date i have only seen 2 of them on the road.
Re: Finally. An SSR to kill for!
I'm not usually a huge fan of the look of the SSR, but that Blackbird is damn sexy. with all the carbon fiber accents, 20s on the front, 22s in the back set off by 15" brembos, I'd hit it
oh, and 425 hp from a factory supercharger under warrenty

You're probably in the minority on that one. Its based off the 1947-54 Advance Design Chevrolet truck series; which is one of the most beautiful trucks of all time. Here's a fine example of a 1951 five-window 3100... I used to have one that was Windsor Blue.

The SSR as amalgamation of the Advance Design Series merged into a modern day hot rod.
Here's another flavor, hot rodded.

Re: Finally. An SSR to kill for!
for the past few days I've been seeing a red one drive by my school and I am really liking how it looks with the top up! I wish they offered a (lower cost) hardtop version
This one with the dark wheels just looks sick!
I want one!
