something probably happened similar to what happened with the Miata a few years ago. if memory serves, I believe that the Miata fell short do to the exhaust being modified at the last minute in order to meet noise regulations. Mazda went pretty far for its "duped" customers and offered refunds, free maintanance, etc...

I seriously doubt they'd tell buyers of their new baby "tough luck"
