From India: Tata Nano, $2500, 54 MPG
On the other hand, I'm so busy nowadays i don't have time to "drive for the sake of driving". 54mpg would only mean i'd use less than alf the gas I do now.
When you think of the 30 million or so people that can afford a first vehicle like this, this is but one of a few cars soon to be available in India and China that will raise the world demand for oil enough to reach $4/gal here in the US.
