Impala Concept.

Here's an Impala concept I found, based on the CTS.

Those headlights look unique and classy. No way GM would do something like that and make a new car, like, stand out.

(I do like the way it came out, actually.)

And for some strange reason, on this car.....( and don't hold me to this, I may change my mind at any second).....I don't mind the chrome bar.

Damn I like it too, go figure? That front end is a nice progression from the current Impy. Some slight changes to the boby panels and I think that would make a great Impala.

What are the odds of a Chevrolet Impala using sheetmetal and body styling from a Cadillac CTS?

I didn't think so.

Its ok, but too small for an Impala. The Holden Statesman and Caprice look like they should pick up where the 96 Caprice/Impala ss ended. They would have made nice transitional replacements.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say i'm not crazy about it. That may have to do with me not being crazy about the CTS's styling (excluding the V-series).

That's just a 'drawing'. If they just got the front end to be similar I'd be happy. And made the rear not ugly (as in the current model).

Yeah, but it might make for a bitchin' Chevelle.

A CTS with a Chevy bar/grill. OK...I'd like more reskinning than that for an Impala SS.
