Imagine what a Chev 'VE' racer would look like

Probably like this (no it's no photoshop)...





The racecar is actually a VZ body with VE panels... that will race in Bahrain (as part of the Aussie V8 Supercar series) after next weekend. Chevrolet has a presence in the ME, which is why this Commodore racer will be wearing the bowtie.

Exactly right. I used to love NASCAR, now I just play the office race pool. Who give a $h1+ about the Car-of-tommorow? It would be super to see cars racing that were something like what I can buy! -- just like the old days.

QFT, wasn't racing supposed to have been the proving ground for manufacturers vehicles instead of shaowing how well they can run thier mouth and pay the sanctioning body?

If you took your car to the track and it got whipped, you went back and made it better. Now'a days it seems like they are short on engineers and long on politcians. Then again I guess it more about adverisment than actual substance.
